Dog Birthday Cake Mix

(Psst: The FTC wants me to remind you that this website contains affiliate links. That means if you make a purchase from a link you click on, I might receive a small commission. This does not increase the price you'll pay for that item nor does it decrease the awesomeness of the item. Linda)

Ever used a dog birthday cake mix? Using a dog cake mix is a lot quicker and easier than making a dog cake from scratch. And a cake mix is still economical to make.

Dog birthdays can be a lot of fun, whether you just invite some of your people friends, or you go all-out and invite your dog’s friends, too.

But, no matter how elaborate or simple you decide to make your party, the one thing that you’ll need for the event—is a dog party cake!

The dog birthday cake is one of the main events for your dog’s big day.

Fortunately you have a couple of choices for having a dog cake for the party:

Dog parties are fun, and a birthday cake mix will simplify your day!

Use a Dog Birthday Cake Mix

This is the easiest way to make a dog cake! And a cake baking mix is a real time saver. I often use a dog cake mix when I’m in a pinch for time.

With all the other things you’ll be doing to get ready for the party, this is one place where you can cut a few corners.

The results are consistent with a cake mix, and you can even microwave them, making the cooking time incredibly short.

It’s nice to keep a couple on hand, just in case you need one.

Make the Birthday Cake from Scratch

You can use a recipe like my carob dog cake recipe or my carrot dog muffins recipe.

You can always use a dog treat icing mix to shorten the cooking time. Or you might want to try a royal icing or a royal icing mix for a very hard frosting.

Buy your Cake at a Dog Bakery

Of course this is the simplest and easiest way to get a dog birthday cake or puppy cakes, if you have a dog bakery near you. Or you can order a pup cake here online.

The downside is that you’ll probably pay a pretty penny to buy one at a dog bakery.

If you will be making your dog’s birthday cake, remember that a cake is just a cake without decoration. Try one of the dog treat icing mixes on the market and take advantage of the cute cake toppings for decorating dog cakes.

Cakes for dogs are quick and easy—and the rewards are spectacular! And we now have the convenience of a dog birthday cake mix to simplify baking.
